Light Production is the primitive version of the Light Industry structure, requiring no preliminary technology to be research in order to build. It can later be upgraded into the Light Industry structure and finally either the Consumer Industry or BioSynth Laboratory.
At the base Colony Size, it produces 2 Domestic Goods and consumes 3 Organics per month. It can be further refined by using either a Story Point and/or AI Cores. Unlike most Tier I and Tier 0 Industries, the Light Production can immediately accept a Special Item in the form of the Biofactory Embryo.
- Story Point: Increases Industry Production by (+1) Domestic Goods.
- Gamma Core: Reduces Demand by (-1) Organics.
- Beta Core: Reduces Demand by (-1) Organics and reduces Upkeep by 25%.
- Alpha Core: Increases Industry Production by (+1) Domestic Goods. Reduces Demand by (-1) Organics and reduces Upkeep by 25%.
- Biofactory Embryo: Increases Industry Production by (+2) Domestic Goods.
